WORK ’24
Kerry College is thrilled to announce the eagerly awaited return of its annual Creative Arts Exhibition, titled “WORK,” which will open its doors at Siamsa Tíre on Friday, April 26th, at 6pm. Hosted in Siamsa Tíre, one of Ireland’s premier cultural venues, WORK promises to offer a diverse array of artistic expressions spanning traditional and digital media. Visitors can expect to see a wide range of artwork, from traditional fine art like painting, print-making, and sculpture, to cutting-edge digital media including animation, games design, graphic design, and interaction design.
The opening night promises to be a vibrant celebration, featuring live performances from learners on our Music Performance and Sound and Production courses, alongside Creative Arts learners, together marking the culmination of a year of hard work at Kerry College.
Participating in the gallery exhibition are learners from Art, Craft & Design, Animation, Digital Design with Visual Communication, and Computer Games Design. This annual event is a celebration of talent, innovation, and creativity, providing a platform for Kerry College learners to showcase their work and celebrate their artistic achievements accomplished throughout the year.
Kerry College is committed to nurturing the next generation of creatives and recognises the vital role of artists and creative media makers in society and the creative industries. WORK is an opportunity to engage with these new artists and designers to discover their unique perspectives and the stories behind their work. The exhibition will run until Monday, 6th of May with no admission charge. Enthusiasts, industry professionals, and the public are invited to experience the wealth of talent on show by Kerry College.
