Kerry College Open Week 2022
KERRY College of Further Education and Training is holding its Open Week event from Tuesday, March 22nd, to Thursday, March 24th at its campus locations in Tralee and Listowel.
It is a chance for parents, school leavers, job seekers, career changers, those who wish to re-skill or up-skill, and guidance professionals to see the range of full-time and part-time courses for employment, college progression, professional development, and apprenticeships on offer.
A number of events are planned across the week in its campus locations in Listowel, Clash Road, and Monavalley, Tralee.
Clash Road is holding its Open Day on Tuesday, March 22nd from 10 am to 7 pm and is holding a Parent/Applicant Information session on Thursday evening from 5 – 7 pm.
Listowel Campus is holding its open day on Wednesday, March 23rd from 1:30 to 7 pm.
The Monavalley Campus Open Days are Tuesday 22nd, Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th from 8:30 am – 8 pm. Kerry College Monavalley Campus will also host an Apprenticeship Information Event from 5-9 pm on Thursday 24th of March. This is a must-visit event for any aspiring apprentices, parents, and employers. Meet and explore the world of exciting apprenticeship options to kick start your career.
The Ireland Skills National Final for Machining & Fabrication competition will be taking place on the 23rd & 24th of March at Kerry College Monavalley Campus – so come and see the apprentices in action! Visitors will also have an opportunity to visit our Electrical, Plumbing, carpentry & Joinery facilities.
Kerry College Killorglin Campus, which specialise in Outdoor Education & Training, will also be onsite at the Monavalley Campus for all 3 days. Come along and explore how a career in the great outdoors might be perfect for you.
Teachers, Tutors, Instructors, Guidance and Support Teams, Students, Apprentices, and Employers will be on hand during Open Week to chat about career options and answer any career-related queries visitors may have.
Second-level school groups are invited to visit during the week. Guided tours of the campus will be held between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm daily. Times differ depending on the campus location. Tours can be booked through the admissions office on 066 7149696 or email [email protected].

Our Monavalley Campus in Tralee is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for school tours and walk-in visits. It’s your only chance this year to gain access to and see our incredible range of workshops, technical training areas, meet our expert instructors and explore your career options in apprenticeship and skills-based courses for employment.
Killorglin Campus, which specialise in Outdoor Education & Training will also be there to answer any outdoor career-related queries.

Come and meet a range of apprenticeship employers and chat with our Apprenticeship services team who can help and advise you. Apprenticeship providers and employers will be in attendance on the evening and will be happy to speak with prospective apprentices.
Ireland Skills National Final for Mechanical, Automation & Maintenance Fitting Apprenticeship. (MAMF)
Monavalley Campus | March 23rd & 24th | 8.30am-9pm
The Ireland Skills National Final for the MAMF Craft Apprenticeship will be taking place on the 23rd & 24th of March. You will have an opportunity to see skills in action, and the best MAMF apprentices applying their trade. Competitors will be selected from all parts of the country to take part in this. The competitors will be nominated by employers, ETB’s and IoT’s, based on their skill levels. The winner of the National competition will have the opportunity to take part in The World Skills competition in China in October 2022.
