Course Overview
This program will provide students essential fundamental knowledge and skills required to kick start their careers in the information security domain as part of the future cybersecurity workforce.
Learners will gain essential insight into various information security attack vectors, including password cracking, malware, social engineering, sniffing, web app attacks, SQL injection and learn the basic methodologies in auditing information systems against these threats.
This course is due to run Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Why should I apply?
Since the introduction of CEH in 2003, it is recognized as a standard within the information security community. CEH v11 continues to
introduce the latest hacking techniques and the most advanced hacking tools and exploits used by hackers and information security professionals today. The Five Phases of Ethical Hacking and the original core mission of CEH remain valid and relevant today: “To beat a hacker, you need to think like a hacker.”
What are the entry requirements?
- Applicants must be at least 18 years
- QQI Level 4 Major Award, Leaving Certificate or equivalent
- Good verbal and written command of the English language (Common European Framework B2 or equivalent)
- Non EU/EEA applicants must have permission to work in Ireland
- Colour vision test Drivers license is desirable for progressing to suitable work placement and employment
- Learners must have IT competence at a level of advanced end user

Fee Information
