Course Overview
This engaging course helps managers and aspiring leaders understand their key responsibilities within the organisation and how effective management directly influences team and business performance. Learners explore the functions of management, leadership styles, communication strategies, and performance improvement techniques to enhance their ability to lead with confidence and purpose.
Ideal for experienced supervisors, team leaders, and middle managers, this module develops the insight and skills needed to align team objectives with organisational goals and deliver measurable results.
This course is due to run Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
What are the entry requirements?
- Applicants must be at least 18 years.
- Must have achieved a minimum of a NFQ level 5 major award or its equivalent prior to entry to the programme, or have achieved the relevant skills, knowledge and competences through work experience.
- Good verbal and written command of the English language (Common European Framework B2 or equivalent).
- Participants must be currently employed, and must be or aspire to be, in a supervisory, team leader or middle management role.
- Applicants seeking entry to the programme must also be capable of completing the programme assessments.
- Nominated participants must meet the criteria outlined in the Target Participant Profile and Programme Entry Requirements above.
- Non EU/EEA applicants must have permission to work in Ireland.
