Course Overview

This course helps leaders and managers recognise the causes and effects of stress and conflict at work, and provides proven strategies to manage them effectively. Learners explore how to identify early signs of stress, implement preventative measures, handle challenging situations, and foster a supportive and productive work environment.

Ideal for managers, supervisors, and HR professionals, this module enhances your ability to lead with empathy, resolve disputes constructively, and maintain team well-being and performance — even under pressure.

What are the entry requirements?

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years.
  • Must have achieved a minimum of a NFQ level 5 major award or its equivalent prior to entry to the programme, or have achieved the relevant skills, knowledge and competences through work experience.
  • Good verbal and written command of the English language (Common European Framework B2 or equivalent).
  • Participants must be currently employed, and must be or aspire to be, in a supervisory, team leader or middle management role.
  • Applicants seeking entry to the programme must also be capable of completing the programme assessments.
  • Nominated participants must meet the criteria outlined in the Target Participant Profile and Programme Entry Requirements above.
  • Non EU/EEA applicants must have permission to work in Ireland.
  • Learners must have a high level of computer literacy.
